Are you ready for the newest technique for cellulite treatment? This is something that the beautiful Jane Jetson would be mighty proud of to say the least.

If youve been waiting for the quick fix of cellulite treatment then your time looks like it may have arrived my friend.

It seems that as quickly and easily it is to get your eyes in tip top 20/20 shape, its just as easy with the new technique of laser surgery for cellulite removal.

Yes maam, how happy are you to hear this glorious news?

Whats more, the FEL, or free-electron-laser will very likely be used to blast away acne as well in the next couple of years.

Heres what is happening so far though. The FEL beam can be produced very specificly, to heat and break down fat tissue, without damaging other body tissue.

In an article in The Times (Online) by Sam Lister, the good news on the new cellulite treatment was stated like this:

Using the FEL, which is much more powerful than a conventional laser, the scientists were able to choose selected laser wavelengths that could heat up the fat, which was then broken down and excreted by the body.

Another huge benefit will be when the technique will be used to break down plaque in arteries. In fact, the cellulite removal
may be the secondary benefit in the grander scheme of it all dont you think.

Before you get excited however, it looks like this treatment wont be hitting the local strip malls just yet. Its being successfully tested on pig fat (not a bad place to start actually).

But, dont fret. Theres still a lot that you can do to treat cellulite on your own. Not as easy as zapping it away, but hey, you appreciate more what you actually have to work for.br

Looking to control your acne? One treatment that you may consider trying is the accutane acne treatment. However, before you decide to try this treatment, there are few things that you should take into consideration first.

The Potential Side Negative Effects

For women that are pregnant or if there is even the slightest chance that you might become pregnant, do not use the accutane acne treatment because it can be very harmful to the fetus. If youre a woman of childbearing age, chances are your doctor will require you to sign a consent form before they give you a prescription for this treatment. The side effects to the fetus can include physical malformations, severe birth defects and mental retardation. It is also not a good idea to become pregnant while using the treatment as well because doing so will put your unborn child at great risk. Some of the other potential negative side effects, aside from pregnancy complications are dry skin, crack lip, joint pain and nosebleeds as well as conjunctivitis, better known as pinkeye. You may also want to restrict yourself from night driving too because the treatment is known to decrease night vision.

Some Bad Interactions With Vitamin A

One of the things that you should definitely not do is to consume vitamin A while on the accutane acne treatment because it can put your health at great risk. This will also include any multivitamin with any level of vitamin A. Some doctors even recommend that you be very cautious about some of the foods that you eat. Certain foods contain a high degree of vitamin A and can increase the risk of side effects. Foods such as liver, cheese, eggs, sweet potatoes, carrots, milk and yoghurt have high levels of Vitamin A. Basically this is something that anyone who is using this treatment must be well aware of and very cautious in order to prevent putting yourself at higher risk for bad side effects.

The accutane acne treatment should really be considered the last resort for your acne problems only after you have exhausted all other possible options. Understand that this treatment is not an overnight miracle cure and chances are your acne will probably get worse before it gets better with this particular treatment. If you are expecting a fast quick fix for your acne, then this is not the option for you. You should first consider all your options first before seeking a prescription for the accutane acne treatment.

One more thing to remember is that this particular treatment is not recommended for people who only have mild cases of acne but for people who have the most severe cases, due to its many negative side effects. While this treatment can be effective, it should be used with the utmost of caution and always follow the instructions of your family doctor or dermatologist. As with any type of medication, make sure you read the instructions carefully. And as usual, if you should experience any negative side effects or adverse health issues, contact your doctor immediately.br

People are affected by acne every day. Not only do they have gross skin that nobody wants to have to look at, they have a severely lowered confidence and self-esteem. People are afraid to go out in public because they are afraid that others will see. And why is this? It isn’t because they haven’t made any attempts at clearing there skin. It is because they have made the attempts, maybe even several attempts at getting rid of acne, but none of them work.

There are all sorts of medications in all sorts of drugstores that claim to clear acne. The reason that these medications seem to have little or no effect is because you have to use them consistently, or the acne comes right back. This is the bad thing about medications such as pills and ointments. If you do not take, say, exactly two pills a day every day, then the results you will get will be little. The same goes for ointments. You have to apply it to your face, in some cases multiple times per day, and you still get few results. The reason why – these products attempt to treat the problem at the skin. If all you ever do is apply treatments to your face, you are only masking the problem, not eliminating it.

What you need to do to stop your acne for good is this – you need to learn about a program that will stop acne at its source, rather than at the skin. You need to learn about a scientifically approved product that uses natural remedies to clear your skin with long-lasting effects. Although there is much to be learned about this process, it is surprisingly simple to go through with, and if you would like to learn more about how you can do this, find out more at the webpage below!

The one thing that a dermatologist will unlikely tell you is that the medicine he is giving you will ultimately make your acne worse.

Take for example the antibiotic that he has given you. Sure, it seems to work for a while, then all of a sudden the acne comes back, and worse than before.

Why is this?

The reason for this is that the bacteria in your skin have developed resistance to the antibiotic and an increased dose will do nothing to make the bacteria go away.

Additionally, with the antibiotic killing all the bacteria in your body, it is killing more good bacteria than ‘bad’ bacteria.

The good bacteria are essential for the health of your gastrointestinal tract. Good bacteria ensure that the yeast Candida is kept to a minimum. Yet when you kill all these bacteria in your gastrointestinal tract, you are giving the Candida the green light to explode in population.

When Candida explodes in population, there are many consequences for your body. Thrush is the most common example. When you allow the population of Candida to soar in your gastrointestinal tract, the Candida will explode in population everywhere else in, or on, your body. Candida will also grow in your skin and cause acne.

If you take antibiotics to kill bacteria, you are guaranteed to make your acne worse.

There is actually no need to take antibiotics to kill bacteria in order to eliminate your acne.

Why is this?

Because the bacteria in your skin does not cause acne. It is one of the great modern myths that bacteria causes acne. This is simply not true.

The bacteria in your skin are completely harmless. Only when you inflict a wound to your skin do you notice how important it is to clean the wound in order for the wound not to become infected by bacteria. But the bacteria do not cause the wound in the first place!

And it is exactly the same with acne. An acne sufferer’s skin produces excessive oil and this excessive oil causes the skin to rupture. The bacteria then infect this rupture just as they do with any wound. The body responds by sending in thousands of white blood cells to kill the bacteria.

The resulting swelling from the white blood cells is acne. If it is deep under the skin, it is cystic acne or if the white puss is visible beneath the skin it is a whitehead.

The best way to prevent acne is to prevent the damage occurring to your skin in the first place. Doing this will not require antibiotics, just a change in your diet.

Zits or pimples may appear harmless but it can ruin a person’s social life and can even destroy his self confidence. For one, it is disfiguring and can mar even a beautiful face. A person who has a severe case of acne usually has low self regard and prefers to live away from people.

Pimple or acne usually appears during puberty, a point in a person’s life when he still has not yet fully developed his confidence. Having acne at that young age limits a person’s social life because he may have bad feelings about showing his face to others. Ultimately, it can destroy a person’s future.

It is unthinkable how many people allow their lives to be inhibited by acne when there are numerous ways of treating such skin disorder. A person, or even his parents, should immediately seek treatment for this skin disorder as soon as possible to avoid further damage top the skin.

Acne is caused by the secretion of oil that is thickened and leads to the clogging of pores. When the pores get clogged, it can lead to inflammation and infection and then to scarring.

While acne is commonly identified with those facial zits, other body parts like the back, neck and chest can also experience acne breakouts. However, most people do not really fuss about these zits since these are located in hidden body parts. Facial acne is however another story since it is the first thing that a person sees.

To avoid acne, you have to keep your skin clean and free of oil all the time. Too much oil build up in the skin can cause acne. Some people are more prone to getting acne so they have to be more careful about keeping their skins free from oil build up.

People who have acne can resort to topical treatments at first but if it does not work out, then it is best to seek treatment and proper prescriptions from licensed dermatologists.

When stronger acne treatments have been prescribed but they do not work, your dermatologist may recommend accutane. This is a prescribed oral medicine which can be effective but its effects can only be seen after a few months of taking it.

Whatever you do with your acne, never prick them because it can only add to the bacteria and can result to scarring. Acne treatments that work for other people may not work on you but keep on seeing your dermatologist until you come up with an effective treatment.

Do not let acne limit your social life. Get help and get some acne treatment before your acne becomes worse and even more difficult to handle.

Western medicine is notoriously sophisticated when it comes to drug formulations and targeted medicine approached from a perspective based in deductive science. It has, however, been largely a failure when it comes to being open to solutions to medical problems which come from outside the realm of deductive science. That is why for years western medicine failed to draw ties between diet and acne. Medical development, and treatments for acne sufferers, has progressed significantly within the last 15 years alone. Yet the problem of acne has remained largely uncurbed, until recently.

In the past few years empirical studies first trickled and are now flooding in indicating that there are links between acne and diet. The basic premise of the research is that eating refined carbohydrates and sugar is the ultimate culprit for many individuals’ problems with acne. The scientific theory holds that when carbohydrates and sugar are metabolized they lead to an increase in insulin and an insulin-like growth factor called IGF-1 production. This growth factor then causes male hormones to begin being produced in the body in much greater quantities. These growth hormones lead directly to an increase the amount of sebum produced. Sebum is the grease-like substance that comes out in your pores which people often describe as ‘oily skin’. Sebum then clogs your pores and ultimately causes to an accumulation of bacteria in those pores which cannot escape because of the sebum. This of course ultimately leads to acne.

That rather exhaustive explanation explains simply this; when you consume refined carbohydrates and sugars you may aggravate your skin, clog your pores, and develop acne.

So, what is the answer? Not surprisingly, it may be to cut back on sugars and refined carbs such as sweets and pastas. These foods provide us with very few of the nutrients we need while providing us with a great deal more by way of clogged pores. In fact, recent studies are showing that these foods may be so bad for you that your body actually fights them like it does a disease, through the production of white blood cells. Not only do these white blood cell expenditures temporarily lower your immune system, but they also cause your body to produce more waste, some of which is exuded through your pores.

But it may surprise you to know that giving up chocolate and spaghetti may not be the only way to go about getting clearer skin. Rather, there are a number of foods, in particular raw vegetables and antioxidants which can actively clear up skin. These foods act as a sort of mop within the body to soak up toxins, also known as free radicals, which are often expelled as bacteria through the skin.

So in effect, following a better diet can attack the problem of acne in two different ways, cutting back on sugars and refined carbs will cause your body to produce less of the pore clogging sebum, while increasing your intake of certain raw vegetables will significantly cut down on the amount of bacteria which is exuded through your pores. Combined, these two techniques will cut down significantly your propensity to suffer acne.

Acne is the medical word used to describe a state in which the pores of your skin are clogged up and irritated. It effects people of all genders, ages and races. The majority of people who struggle with this condition are teenagers entering puberty. Acne can be found anywhere on the body but mostly effects the face, back, chest, upper arms and neck areas.

Although acne is not life threatening, it can have devastating consequences on a person’s self-confidence and social behavior. It can also lead to scarring even in the more milder cases. The good news is that there are many different treatments available to the acne sufferer. The treatment will usually depend on the skin type and severity.

The best place to start for people with mild acne and for those with black or whiteheads is with a cleansing program. It is recommended that you cleanse the areas effected with a mild soap that doesn’t leave your skin too dry after wards. After cleansing, you may want to try applying a little over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide product. This chemical has been shown much promise in treating mild acne and is usually quite cheap.

Products such as Clearasil and Benzac that contain benzoyl peroxide work by killing all of the bacteria that is known to cause acne. The only downside is that it can take several months to see decent results but will however, not create a resistance from the bacteria. Other common products contain salicylic acid and they help by breaking down blackheads and whiteheads.

Breakouts that are much more serious will most likely require a visit the your physician or dermatologist. More severe acne that creates nodules and cysts can leave behind horrible scarring and getting the proper medication can help to prevent future scarring by quickly reducing your acne.

Even if you choose to use strong medications, you should still remember to use a daily cleanser. Often with prescriptions from a doctor, you will be give very strong oral antibiotics to use. No matter how bad your acne is or how itchy it might get, you should never pop or pick at them unless done by a skin professional. Large zits might need to be cleaned or drained to prevent scarring or to clear up an infection.

Treating or curing your acne will take time and each person’s treatment will vary. What might work for your friends or even your parents may not work for you or your skin type. You need to give your skin plenty of time to heal and in some cases it might “get worse before it gets better”. One thing you might want to consider is taking a low-dosage birth control pill that will help to reduce flare-ups that are associated with a woman’s menstruation.

When you find something that works for your skin you should stick with it for several months. You should put into place a good daily routine of cleansing and treating. This will definitely reduce any future outbreaks of acne. If you already have acne scars, don’t worry, because there are also treatments now that can help to remove them. You will need to discuss these options with a dermatologist.

For most people, their cause of acne is internal due to hormones and other factors. Author Chris Gibson has created a unique treatment program that targets these internal causes that has seen as much as a 90% success rate on people who try it. If you suffer from acne you should definitely give it a try. It’s called Acne Free in 3 Days and you can read more about the program by clicking on this link: Acne Free in 3 Days

Acne is not something that anyone wants to have. It is embarrassing and can even at times be painful. There are a lot of people that have to deal with acne and for a long time. There are things that you can do for it, but you never know when you are going to have another outbreak and where.

Many young people have to deal with getting acne. It can be a bother, but most of the time, it is something that goes away with some cream. The “zits” are annoying and will seem to always appear when they least want them, but they happen. Usually this is because of the amount of hormones that are flowing through a teenager’s body. This will produce the acne problem and it will usually eventually wear off.

There are also some adults that have to take on the challenges of having acne. For them, this can be annoying and irritating at the same time. Many adults will be embarrassed as well by the pimples and will want to get rid of them as soon as possible. For some people this is easy, for others it is not so easy. It will take a lot of time to have the pimples problem taken care of.

Many pregnant women have to deal with acne as well. They will have a high level of hormones in their body and need the acne medications that are out there on a daily basis. This is some thing that needs to be approved by the woman’s doctor first. Some creams and pills are not safe to take while pregnant and nursing. Make sure that you are careful and take the necessary precautions before use.

Eating and diet is will have a lot to do with acne as well. Many foods are blamed for giving people acne. They will have to watch what they eat and cut back on the greasy foods and the ones that are richer in certain ingredients. This can make a lot of difference when it comes to keeping the acne gone.

Some people even say that stress has a lot to do with acne. This is not for sure yet however and there are more studies to know if this is a factor or not. It is not a bad idea to try and relieve stress quickly and to avoid stress whenever possible.

The three most popular treatments used today for the treatment of acne scar removal are Smoothbeam laser, Vbeam laser and Fraxel. These modern laser acne scar removal treatments help promote collagen growth under the scars, which means the scars are filled from the inside giving a longer lasting effect. Smoothbeam laser is done using topical anesthetic which is a cooling cryogen spray that is sprayed on the face just before treatment. The good thing about this type of treatment is that it is quite painless, and the redness that usually occurs will disappear in a few hours after the treatment.

Vbeam laser treatment works for all types of acne scar shapes, but is especially effective on red scars because its objective is to remove the blood vessels in scars whereby they will fade and have a less outstanding appearance. The bad news about this type of treatment is that your face will be red and irritated and will hurt for around a week after the treatment..

What Fraxel laser treatment does is preserve the normal healthy layers of skin lying between the areas of infected skin that has been treated by the laser allowing for a much faster recovery than other laser treatments. After a series of treatments the skin is restored looking refreshed and beautiful. Because Fraxel laser penetrates the dead layer of tissue leaving it completed untreated, make-up can be worn immediately following this procedure. Depending on the extent of the treatment some patients are able to return to work immediately after the treatment while others require a few days to fully recover.

Before this treatment can be performed you have to prepare your skin, it will be cleansed with Opti Guide Blue, (which is a blue tint) which will be applied to the affected area. The blue tint is supposed to increase the contrast of tiny folds in the surface of the skin, so the fraxel Laser can precisely read the discreet contours of the affected area. Fraxel laser treatment can be very painful and would require the administration of a topical anesthetic ointment around sixty minutes before the operation to allow the anesthetic to take effect. This procedure can last anywhere from twenty to twenty five minutes depending on the amount of skin to be treated. Some people may experience swelling or redness and irritation after the treatment but these should fade within a few days.

All three types of treatments have their good sides and their bad sides but before you decide on which one you would like to use, you should definitely weigh the pros and cons as to how long it takes to heal, how effective it will be in clearing acne scars and how painful it is going to be after the actual treatment. It is always recommended that you consult with your dermatologist who will best be able to advise you as to which type of treatment would be best for you.

Our skin is actually the largest organ of our body and it assists several other organs in the process of waste elimination and because of this fact, one of the best treatments for acne is actually the diet which we follow and the foods we choose to eat. If you are internally unhealthy it will show on your skin and your health overall. Acne is a problem that usually occurs when natural skin oils and bacteria in the skin clog up the pores. Acne is mostly prevalent during puberty and pregnancy when the body starts to produce more hormones which triggers more skin oil production.

Many people have found that by simply changing their diets, they have either reduced their acne or even cured it. When I was a lot younger I suffered from a severe case of acne and tried many of the best treatments available at the time. One of them was Retin-A, which was the most popular prescription type medication for acne. Some of the more popular topical treatments were Clearasil and Noxzema. One thing I learned was to never use alcohol directly on acne lesions. What worked well for me was to cut back on all the processed foods I was eating and replacing them with much healthier foods such as fruit and vegetables. I thought that it would be very hard to convert because up until that time, I had lived mainly on junk food.

Eating healthier was not as bad as I thought it would turn out be. There are actually many foods that are naturally good for your skin and can turn out to be wonderful home remedies. At the beginning, I thought I would just try to remember when to use my acne medications or other products for my acne rather than having to give up junk food. My mother and Doctor both told me to eat better food and if I wanted to, use a little tea tree oil. To my great surprise, I started to enjoy this new change and my skin slowly got brighter and had much less spots. My results were noticeable within the first week.

My parents were much happier now that I was eating food other than chips and soft drink. They were also happier that they didn’t have to spend any more money on my ongoing treatments. Who could have thought that drinking naturally sweetened fruit juices and water would act as a natural acne treatment. My breakouts started to become few and far in between. Using only my diet, I had found myself the perfect treatment.

There are hundreds of different treatments available on the market for acne today that claim to be the complete answer to all of you skin problems but the truth is that you will have to find out what works best for you. Some people will only respond to the very powerful prescription medications available because of a possible more serious illness that they have that’s causing their acne. Home remedies though, have alleviated many outbreaks for many people and as the old saying goes “We are what we eat”. If the eyes are truly the window to our soul then it can be said that the skin is a reflections of our health so that means the real cure for acne has to start from within.

For most people, their cause of acne is internal due to hormones and other factors.
