Trying to get rid of acne can be a difficult thing but if you know what you are doing then you should be able to clear up your skin in a very short time. The reality is a little bit different and more complicated than this. Skin hygiene and diet do not cause acne but can make the problem worse. But it may be necessary to also take medication to deal with the problem.
